Subway Blues

The darkness in

The tunnel is deep

Train passes by

Nobody will see me cry

I am the old man with

A wretched look and dirty hair

Talking with

That awful racist slur

Wearing an unwashed fur

Having a heart of gold

When the stomach of beer is full

Stinking like a dirty dog

Since I lost my sense and frock

Hardly standing

Watching life passes by

But his time has stopped

Just like his watch

Time will not do me well

Not even right the wrongs

watch

A Trapped Enigma

The night is not dark

More blue and filled with errors

This is the twilight zone

A place for melancholy

And desire

Long gone memories returning

To the land of the dead

Fear and frozen fingers

Silence and mosquitos

Only the tiny creek

Provides some distracting noise

Listen, listen

Because you will not hear

Anything

Unless you are humble and patient

The forgotten gods is almost gone

Still present in the

White summer night

Reflection

Sleepless night

Losing sight

What is to be done

How much time it will take

Frustration

Walking out in the cold

Early morning

Mourning my lost sleep

Lost life that

Went away

Long time ago

The Second Night

The second night came and
Sleep fell over me
I could see the stars
As I entered someone else’s head
A man that had long been dead
His memories, beautiful and true
Living as a herd, a man of the land
I followed him for many years
Moving cattle in Brittany
In the 18th century
But the wind in the
Trees took me away from his
Efforts and misery

Gone and So On

Lost the meaning of living

The meaning of being alive

Ending the story

Here and now

Moving memories around

In the dark

An angel never came

Being busy somewhere

Else

Night Walker

The night is long

Full of errors and

Illusions

Sleepless and haunted

By the failures in everyday life

I went out into the woods

Walking to greet the darkness

The essence of existence

Dangers lurking everywhere

In my head like a ghost
