Night Light

This dark winter Sunday

When the daylight

Leaves us Frozen and cold

It is Like being on the bottom

Of the sea

Lost among strange and

Colorful creatures

Eating each other

The Stage

Playing on the big stage outside

A place where light and shadow never stands still

Life is always moving, changing

Developing the sensitivity for that

Is an art form

Natural and ever changing light

The essence of who we are

Changes and becomes

Open ended direction

In the eternal changing light

In the Valley of Darkness

Life in all its variety

Is a prisma of suffering

In one way or the other

Trying to go

When its as darkest

So I don’t need

To feel any hope

When the light

Return

Hope

Returns

Eventually

Backwards and forwards

Playing with my mind

What life could have been if only

A true illusion

Because there is no turning back

Life is a one way street

Nothing in the past ever change

Only our way of perceiving it

White light

Burning far, far away from Burning man

It is cold here, the snow is still here

I do not expect any summer soon

But the light has returned

Changing the perception of land and water
