Losing The Game

Life is unequal game

That we play

Whether we want it or not

You are part of that game

You know that you will always

Lose in the end

They have a car

You have your worn out sandals

The game is equal to all

But only the rich and smart

Can win

You wish they burn in hell

But they are all happy and well

In the end they give you a dime

And tell you that you are going

To be fine

But the truth is that you are going

To die alone and in pain

That is life here my friend

End it all before you fall

Let the play their game

Until they burn it all

That is their nature

Then you will be no more

Game is over my friends

A Lucky Strike

The rich are the happy one

In this equation,

Improving their wealth

Every year

For the rest of us

Eternal struggle to make ends meet

We will suffer and eventually

In the next cycle

Lose even more

So please give us your change

So we can maintain ourself

And continue to pretend

That things will get better

How The World Works

The old man had a

worn down brown suit

That did not fit his

Black hat

Smelling of sweat and bad breath

Unwashed shirts and underwear

I have something to say

Even if no one

Will listen

This world is built on

Profit and money

And contempt for those

Who have not

He kept on ranting while

Counting his dollar bills

To be sure that he was counted
