A Place To Rest The Mind
Life has different kind of surprises
In store for our simple minds
We are always trapped by it limitations
Can we become more than we are
Can we reach beyond our bounds
And limitations
The storytelling always says yes
It is possible
But reality takes its toll
Preying on what could not be found
Elsewhere but deep inside us
Where our own traitors live
That demands other things than
Expected
Leading us to unknown places
Far from where we once wanted
To go
This is the end
The very end
My best friend
We move from coast to coast
Looking for where
The best of times
Can be our host
But it s over now
We are trapped
In this time trap
Finding a way out of here
Losing the grip of normality
A way of leaving behind
What was never meant to be resolved
All those expectations
Leave them behind
Life is broken
And so is the planet
Lost in its own creation
Meaning a great remorse
Nothing has to be done
By me or by you
Demand and desire
Are just vanishing shadows
In the rising morning sun
Found a new world
Beyond the corner
Another place
Very small but still
Somehow relevant
Another universe
With its own weird rules
A place for contempt and
Contemplation, freedom as well as
Frustration, fruition and fertile imagination
That place I thought was mine
Until someone took it away
Awaken me to the futile experience
We call reality
Trapped in time and memories
I entered another world
New to its rules and customs
Frozen by the long journey
To the top of the hill
I cried and remembered
That I had forgot
My past
Traveling in my mind
Inside the enclosed room
That is my
Limited mind
I do not know
Very much
Just some empty fragment
On how not to live
This is me
And I have to stand
Who I am
Searching, always
Searching for
Different worlds
Sometimes I find them
Late at night
Evening pleasures
And just like a dream
Soon forgotten in the morning light
Time to leave
Travel
See new landscapes
Meet new
People
It is
Whatever
It is
What do we deserve
What is the aim of our life
And existence
Hard question to live with
But this is here and now
In a small space
Waiting to leave the country
This became my destiny
Travelling to Madagascar
Not in reality
But as a dream
Finding all the facts
Reading all the books
Searching internet
And social media
Still I am not there
Just getting weird
Limited insight
One can study forever
Life is so much more
Underground the light is always tepid
The wall and floor covered in dust
Silence and relentless movements
Travels around the city like waves
On a stormy ocean 🌊
The water of the rock is still dripping
As a remainder to the human
A temporary intruder after a billion years
the world turns on a word
I'm just another dreamer...
