A Place To Rest The Mind
It is not life itself
That brings you down
But the relations
The dysfunctional situation
The material conditions
All that can be changed
But changing the patterns
The thinking, the actions is something
Truly different
Things lose their meaning quickly
And then we are trapped in the quagmire
Waiting or even hoping to die
Finally the depression
Reached me
Back home
Downhill a bad day
As a dysfunctional family work
We bring each other down
Traveling back to my land
Lost in memory
Lost because of deceit
A normal way to acquire
What you need in my
Family
We stole from the start
Until the very end
Even from our own of course
Leaving behind broken
Hearts and lives
Sometimes we have to navigate in bad water being
Lost among family and friends
That have their own problems
Such is life,
That when we need help the most
It seems to be farther away
Than we can reach
We are trapped in a limbo
Being to weak to get out of the trap
But to strong to sub comb
And here we are waiting for
The iceberg to melt
So that our bad ship
Might reach the
West Indies
Going by Greenland
Was not a good idea
Even though the name
Seemed to promise
A good time
The family is the most destructive way
To live if it is dysfunctional
Toxic and confrontationa,
There are so many patterns, way of being
That makes you shun away from
Being in the middle of contradicting
Desires and demand
Leaves the soul empty and neurotic
Striving for a better life
But the scars are deeply ingrained
And soon enough
You fine yourself in the smae
Or similar family patterns
But with new people
Time to break up again
The lunch eventually
Turns out to be the expected
Dysfunctional encounter
With between the narcissist and
Lone wolf
Each one talking to himself
In the different corners of the
Room
So that the circle can start
Again and again forever
the world turns on a word
I'm just another dreamer...
