The Great War Revisited

I could not stop returning

To the war or forget the people

I met in the city

Still things got more complicated

The good people were not that good

Just human with a twist being in a war

Everything became human and very

Complex,perplex a culture with

Different rule that applied

All the great projects became crooked

Like life itself

So eventually I put everything on the shelf

Protagonist

I have been silent

For such a long time

No uttering a word

Kept my thoughts

To my self

And now I don’t see

Why it would matter

Anymore

All my battles will be lost

All my thoughts will be forgotten

One day so let’s give them

Wings and words

Moments of Experience

When I was a boy

I dreamt of a brighter better day

A day when I wasn’t alone

A day of love and joy

But with age comes

Wisdom and the joy

The great joy of not needing

To share moments

With those not interested

Everyone in their own eco chamber

Makes a lot of noise

Only the silent trees offers

Remorse and peace

For a troubled mind

The Price of Wisdom

Wisdom is hard to earn

The name of the currency

Is your life

Is your hope

That is hard to handle

This is not what I dreamed of

But this is my destiny

To pay a price

So high

That I will never make it

In the real world

That is the price of being

Called “Wise”
