Subway Blues

The darkness in

The tunnel is deep

Train passes by

Nobody will see me cry

I am the old man with

A wretched look and dirty hair

Talking with

That awful racist slur

Wearing an unwashed fur

Having a heart of gold

When the stomach of beer is full

Stinking like a dirty dog

Since I lost my sense and frock

Hardly standing

Watching life passes by

But his time has stopped

Just like his watch

Time will not do me well

Not even right the wrongs

watch

Love

Love is beautiful madness

An insane projection

That takes over your

Mind and body

Numbing your senses

Until you wake up

After a few years

With a family

That can transfer

The madness into

The unforeseeable future

The Love That Never Was

Seasoned madness

In lonely places

That is hidden from

The public

Your madness

Is the only true guarantee

That we will never meet

And you will not even notice

What you missed

My Love

I searched for you

My whole life

Dreaming, longing

Knowing that

Somewhere out there

I would eventually

Find you

But…

I never did
