A Place To Rest The Mind
What did I learn?
In this isolated corner
In this reincarnation
In this illusion
That is so real
I close my eyes
And remember
A distant beach

More than 30 years ago
The sun shining so intensive
The too blue sea and the rocks
There I meet myself for the first time
And the future seemed so bright
The eternal nature of our souls always promise
Renewal and hope
But the memory is like writing in the sand
Feeling lost in the night
The silence and the inability
In the same time is esoteric
I am not alone in the universe
And memories from the past
Many hundred years ago comes by
To say hello
All those lost souls around us
All those who lived before us
All those who will live here
In our and their world that we all share
On this level
Late at night
When I was young
I wanted to be strong and without fear
Fly all over the world with my wings
Instead I lost it all
Failed again and again
In my shame and grief
IÂ hide in my cell
But the wound was painful, it went deep into the heart
I could not from the world stay apart
I had to repeat again and agin
What I could not do, I had to do
Again and again
And my life went into a loop
New people, new failures
To prove once and for all how bad I really am
But that was not end
I realized that I had to transcend
To see life from a different point of view
And play with a friend
And that was finally the end
So the day goes while
Fighting my own shadow
To no avail
Life is a lonely chessboard
Playing against myself
Still losing again and again
There is hope
but I am tool
playing someone
else´s fool
There is an answer
at the door
open itÂ
And you will change
But you are still
the foolÂ
the devils tool
the world turns on a word
I'm just another dreamer...
