On The Brink

The trick is to keep moving

Being busy with trivia

Easy matter that wastes

The thinking and energy

The mind needs distractions

And some illusions

To keep floating

Downstream

Glacier Time

Change is a different

Thing

Something difficult

Finding

This slow process

As a glacier

Slowly moving

Towards the sea

The Land is Sinking

Each year the sea moves a little bit higher

Searching for unity and balance

Is now impossible

Two wonderful things in the world

Are gone forever

Just the mechanics of change

Remains untouched

As always

Cold Water

When the anxiety gets

Too mighty

Too strong and powerful

Like a river of rage

And fear

Cold, cold river

Like in the far north

Where the trees will not grow

One try to survive

It is hard and confusing

Just being here

Eventually it might work

At the moment

I am under the ice

Looking for open water

And bluer skies

The Only Soul

Stress isn’t a relief

Just a bit of thinking that

Affects your body

A pattern for survival

A way to live

Exist in a complex

World

That eventually drains

You up because

We have only one soul

And it’s need to be

Taken care of

Gently

Nordic Spring

Out in the marshes

The life restarts

Near the cold and frigid

Sea that still lives in

The winter hiatus

Yellow flowers and

Colorful butterflies

Appears out of nowhere

Even the lost humans

Start to melt in the

Strong sun

The Element of Water

Reaching a ground by

Doing hard household work

Washing dishes

Silence is also a good thing

Connecting mind and body

New thoughts and resilience

Water dried thoughts

Drifting Away

Falling over and you find yourself

In the middle of the stream

The danger is as greatest there

Strong and vigil it takes you

Under the surface in to the black current

Surviving is only possible while

Drifting of in cold water to the edge

Wash your body ashore on the rocky beach
