A Place To Rest The Mind
Do I believe
In making
The world
A better place?
No I don’t
This is not my world
Soon I will be gone
Other will come
They will make it worse
Soon they will be gone
And others will come
And maybe make this
World a “better place”
They will be gone too
And in the end
Good and bad
Will be gone beyond
Recognition
Traveling in my mind
Inside the enclosed room
That is my
Limited mind
I do not know
Very much
Just some empty fragment
On how not to live
This is me
And I have to stand
Who I am
Searching, always
Searching for
Different worlds
Sometimes I find them
Late at night
Evening pleasures
And just like a dream
Soon forgotten in the morning light
Rain rather than sun
Grounded rather than spaced out
Minimalist rather than baroque
Snow rather then heat
A slow pace of life
Will not solve anything
Neither will reason
Or calculation
But leaving Apollo and
Dionysius
Behind in their eternal
Struggle
Going out into the margins
The places where I can get
A decent perspective
A place from where
It is possible to understand
The world once again
Stepping out into the real world
It’s cold as ice in the middle of summer
Shadowy and shrank,
Fake and pretentious
Breeding the rotten stench
That is real, reality
Frozen death in a box
I failed but
I do not longer care
It doesn’t matter
I don’t care
For your world
Let us keep this world together
Let us keep it alive and well
Let us work together for a better world
A world with water, food and houses
For everyone in need
A world with school, hospital and resources to live
For everyone in need
A way for everyone to do a good deed
Travelling by my armchair
Reviewing places I never
Been to like Hong Kong Or
Shenzhen
Going down on street view
Seeing
The world in a flat way
The world in a different way
When things overwhelm you
Not much get done
Therefore you search for a way out
Freedom is being alone
Reading and thinking
Writing poems by the water
Creating another world
In this world but
Outside of it
Moving freely
Boundless in
Between spaces
Like in water
Happy to leave
The crazy city
Finding peace of mind
Under the gigantic
Fur tree
Like a protection
From an unforgiving
Sky
the world turns on a word
I'm just another dreamer...
